Steam, Smoke, and Fog
Mayor Artemis Teague welcomes you to Johnstone, Spire of the Northwest!
Recent arrivals from one of the many steamers or airliners that grace our ports should visit our many shopping districts, wander our walking districts or tour our world famous natural history museum in the art district. Locals and visitors alike enjoy partaking of the entertainments at the Rampant Narwhal. Hostess Arabella Fitzgerald can show you our best example of your favorite vice, introduce you to a new pleasure, or simply host you for the finest food, drink and Broadway shows to be found on the West Coast.
Sheriff Kennels would advise visitors against random excursions into the cargo docks, canals or the Gastown district. While not inherently dangerous, these areas are the lifeblood of commerce in Johnstone and excess visitors tend to clog the arteries of production, in a manner of speaking. All services can be found in the more manicured parts of our fair city. The sheriff and his deputies appreciate your cooperation.
If you happen to encounter one of the famed Brass Screw Confederacy from our sister port of Townsend in the great state of Washington, let them know of your appreciation for their part in ensuring the finest goods of the Northwest and beyond are available wherever your travels may take you.
The weather may not be the brightest, but the lights of Johnstone always shine in the star of British Columbia and the Spire of the Northwest. Welcome!
